Looking back at 2008, the massive entertainment buzz revolved around the Edison Chen sex scandal (I had massive amount of hits just blogging about it). Thereafter, if not mistaken, there was Vanessa Hudgens' photos and so on so forth (which didn't really create that much of a buzz, as compared to Edison that is).

Here's something I got this morning. As mentioned on Twitter, I had to go to work early today sooo... to kill a bit of time before my "breakfast date" (which turned out to be a nightmare, as usual), I started surfing the net. No surprise there of course. Here's the "surprise". Okay, so surf-surf-surf and... I chance upon Eddy's blog - Eddy Sun to be exact - created for the sole purpose to retrieve his lost Asus M10 mobile phone.

Let me just jump right into the "juicy" part. Eddy is giving out a reward of $10,000 (I'm assuming it's in SGD) to the person who finds the phone! "I kid you not." Well, there is one condition to claim the reward: "Do not share his videos in his phone online!"

Food for thought: Why the hell would someone offer $10,000 for the retrieval of a phone?

I mean seriously, the Asus M10 isn't exactly the most expensive phone out there, and I'm pretty sure it isn't diamond coated. Do you know this Eddy Sun guy? For one, he's a guy. Even if he had like intensive karma with numerous parties and recorded it in his mobile phone... so what? He is no Edison Chen that's for sure (not that Edison is all that hot to begin with). Then again, maybe it's the females he's trying to protect?

To be able to give a reward of $10,000, this guy has gotta be pretty wealthy. Rich guys attract pretty girls (or so they say). Maybe he managed to hook up with some big celebrity or something? Then again, he sounds awfully Singaporean. Even if he is some rich asshole (no offence), the really big stars probably wouldn't be the least be interested. I CANNOT imagine Megan Fox... oh god no. No way!

It's good to say he has skeletons in his closet (but who doesn't).

Is he married?

Maybe he has an affair and he doesn't want his wife to find out? Maybe it's his wife that is super duper rich and if she found out he is having an affair she would divorce him and he would BROKE! Wahahahaha. It's possible okay. If so, Eddy Sun is probably not even his real name. It'd be silly to post online his real name and say something like, "Don't share my photos/videos in my phone and I'll give you $10,000!" His wife might see it and start asking questions. I would.

TERRORIST!?!

Maybe he is some freaking terrorist and he recorded his meeting with his group?! OMFG! Well, if that is the case, hell no. I'm sooo not gonna return you your god damn phone! For the good of the citizens in Singapore, I'm sooo gonna screw you over.

Some corporate scandal!?!

Maybe it's not sex videos that he is worried about. Maybe he works for some major listed company and he recorded some confidential meeting and if news got out, they would be in deep shit! This makes more sense don't you think? I would pay $10,000 if it saves me from getting fired from a super high paying job. Well, he said not to share his videos online... he said nothing about watching it. Hurhur.

I can seriously think of a lot more scenarios but let's just leave it as that. It's not as though I have my hands on his phone anyway.

Being the good Samaritan that I am. Let me share his words to you:

"I lost my phone last night. Location: Borders, Orchard. Please return it to me ASAP if you find it but please do not share the contents in my phone to anyone/online especially my videos. Thanks. Reward: $10,000! I kid you not. Please. It's very important to me. Email me at eddysun77@gmail.com"
