My saying goes, "The older you get, the more money you earn, and the more vain you become!" (I heart starting entries with my "philosophical" statements that usually make no sense whatsoever. Hurhur.)

My recent post on maxi dresses triggered an outbreak of maxi dressing craze! By hook or by crook, even when situations forbid me to, I would forcefully attempt to try out a new piece (I think I bought 6 if not mistaken) from my supposed "collection".

Seriously, what better way to proclaim your love for a following (for this case, I'm referring to maxi dresses) than to showcase it on yourself and take a dozen photos in it thereafter?

And, of course, what better way to torture your siblings than to make them (or for this case, her) take them for you?!

Talk about narcissism, I think I've reached a whole new level!

Unfortunately, as I already know all well, this particular cutting does not suit me at all (but like I said, it's a forceful attempt). This style tends to make me look shorter and bigger than I actually am, or so says my dear sister.

Mentioning in a previous entry,

"Some say that maxi dresses work well for larger women, to a certain extend at least. Because of its length, it enables larger women to cover their apparent thick thighs and hide the wide hips. By doing so, they look better, kinda. Unfortunately, often if not always, larger women tend to have larger bust. And big-busted women may find the maxi dress harder to pull-off. The way around this is to find a maxi dress with a halter-style or bandeau top rather than thin spaghetti straps. They are more flattering to the bust. Also, a V-neck draws attention away from the bust and is flattering for the fuller figure."

And this concludes that theory.

FYI, the red rose hair clip thingie is my sister's. It's kinda cute but I doubt I'd wear it out in public.

All that said, I'm not the least bit depressed and I'm still gonna wear the non-flattering pieces dispute the evidence (or insults for that matter).

PS: This piece will be added to my coming collection in my blogshop! ^^
