♥ Princessa's Royal Diary ♥ - Royalty has never been so PINK!

I'm sure all if not most of you have heard of Bong Qiu Qiu (aka BQQ), she's the host for clicknetwork.tv's Budget Barbie.

Anyway, she'll be tending a flea stall at SCAPE flea market this Sunday, October 23rd (in other words, tomorrow) from 2pm onwards. In case you're wondering, BQQ is not there to sell her own stuff but to sell calendars with all the faces at Gentle Paws (a non-profit doggie shelter).

Gentle Paws is a dog shelter located in the heart of the city that is Singapore. They over 40 dogs, taking care of their shelter, food and general well-being - mainly rescued strays/abandoned dogs.

They are not a registered charity. They are just a not-for-profit shelter run by a group of dog lovers and aided along by kind donors out there. You can find more information about them at their "About Us" page.

Here's one of those stories...

We (as in my family) used to have quite a number of dogs at home (there's only Miki now), before my grandma passed away. Then, she wasn't very pleased with having that many pets, our maid wasn't too pleased either.

One day, after school, I came back and Mr. White (aka Beethoven) was GONE! The details aren't important (it's quite a long time ago, my memory is pretty blurry as well), what's important is that I've not seen him since. Sadly, I wasn't really allowed to look for him either.

I loved Mr. White, he was always there to listen to me whine about how horrible my day at school was. It felt like I lost a friend.

Moral of the story...

Maybe, just maybe one of those dog shelters took in Mr. White (I really have no idea what happened to him) and he lived a happy life after that (high chance he's no longer alive, it's been nearly 10 years and he was already quite old then).

Dogs have feelings too. Despite what all the retards out there think. They need a home and they need care. And of course, food and air is just as important.
