I don't have long nails, so it really doesn't bother me that the Apple iPhone isn't build for those with. Then again, that's just me. I'm quite sure there are many ladies out there are a little bothered by it.

Image from guardian.co.uk.
I mean seriously... Other then Xiaxue, I'm sure there are many women out there that are into the whole "long acrylic nails" craze right? Like duh.
Anyhow.
I'm sure most of you saw the goddess's video review on the iPhone. Yes, it's a harsh, esp. if you're a supporter of Apple/Mac, but isn't she always?

Arghhh...
It's bad enough that I'm about to totally lose it and you come and tell me that
"but the girl looks hot.. lol"
What the hell! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU!
I HATE YOU TO HELL AARON!
And the rest of you "peeps" can burn there with him!
YES! YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!
I CURSE THE WHOLE LOT OF YOU!
Being a blogger is sooo totally different from being a writer. It's still writing (or rather typing on my keyboard) but the angle is like totally not in my view! (Sooo not used to it.)

5 Ways To Dress Slimmer
Wear whatever you like, just make sure it fits your body shape
By Sabrina Ong
Uploaded on June 23, 2008
It's loaded TODAY!
Fashion trends involve constant evolution and with that it's pretty safe to say that in today's "world of fashion" – anything goes! You no longer need to follow the crowd to belong - whatever fits your shape is good to go and that is why it's crucial that you pick out the right clothes that fit your body shape.

Women want to look slimmer, most of the time at least. Perhaps it is because we know that there will be an event where we know photographs will be taken and don't want the extra ten camera-pounds to show.
So, the question now is:
It's been a while since I joined the channel to "chat" with my so-called BFFs (the traitors that left me). The strange thing about BFFs is that no matter how long you've not spoken (or for this case typed) to them, the moment you do, it feels as though it's like good old times. Nothing really changed.
First sentence said, "problem?" I responded, "not really..."
And with that we all knew I had a problem. I guess you can say they know me all too well. Then again, if I don't have a problem, I'd probably not be online, in that channel, 5am in the morning.
I guess I had nothing else to say so I said, "it's nothing really, probably just missing you guys or something."
God grieves, why the hell would I say something sooo ridiculous. In bold and caps came the flooding of "WAHAHA" and "LOL". Ryan even passed the comment, "this must be bad, she lost it."
Hey, I never said I was the nicest person in the world okay. Don't judge me for my shortcomings... :(
Anyway.
Yanni's blog kinda popup while I was searching with the keyword - "88DB". And well... After visiting one link after another, I chanced upon a blog with an entry - "Born with feet facing backwards", which kinda caught my attention!
(Okay... It's the photos that really caught my attention.)
Let me summarize this...
According to the entry - a waitress, Wang Fang, 27, of Chongqing city in China, refused to be classified as "disable" dispite the fact that she was born with her feet facing the wrong way.
She said:
This entry is going to be really short. It's like 1am or something and I'm totally exhausted, have to wake up at 6am, which is like 5 hours away after I finish this entry? Ouch.
P/s: I'll try to sort out the photos and publish it on Facebook or something so you guys can get a copy. But don't expect too much from it. I realise taking photos of people moving constantly isn't as simple as it looks. In fact, it really takes quite a bit of skills, which apparently I DO NOT HAVE - no thanks to Aaron.
Anyway. First let me thank my good friend Gavin Foo for this excellent experience, 88DB (or rather 88DB Lifestyle) for letting leave the office and cover the event, LG and Yahoo for the invite, and all the bloggers that attend!

Have I mentioned that I've started work officially?
Well, in case you haven't heard, I'm currently working as a Writer at 88DB (under 88DB Lifestyle), and I'm looking out for hot leads for a good story!
So... If you have a story in mind, and want extra publicity, drop me an email, message me on Facebook (I can't log on to MSN at work), or use my contact form! Thanks!
Anyway, it's past midnight already and I have to wake up at 7am. (Plus I need to head down to CommunicAsia 2008 by 2pm. From West to East is sooo not a close distance.)
I'm gonna hit the sheets now. Will update again tomorrow later or something.
Nights all!
Here's a question that Mashable brought up:
"Will Technorati, a long time leader in blog search, see its market share eaten up by an open, mobile text messaging platform?"
(Duh. Twitter.)
In case you didn't know - Twitter is a service for sharing text updates with friends proved itself a veritable rapid-transit system for breaking news, and soon it was this microcontent production house, not the blogosphere, that became the check-digit for the established blogging pro.
Anyhow.
As quoted:
Yes, Google Blog Search was a harsh blow for the once prominent blog search engine, but Technorati's greater failing was to turn a blind eye when the breaking conversation moved to a different medium: microblogging.
For those who aren't sure of the term "microblogging", according to Wikipedia:
It always starts with fame and then sex video. Is there no innovation?
Geez. They should seriously consider other alternatives. Oh well.
Okay, previously for Gina Lisa's case, everything is in German. This time round for Ana karina Soto... Everything is in Spanish!
God... I, Princessa, sooo do not speak Spanish! Can't someone translate everything. Tsk.
Anyhow.
Understanding the language or not matters little in this case. Apparently the whole "sex video" isn't just a "perhaps" but a definite, and the video itself says it all...
(Can someone send me the latest link where the video is uploaded at? The one in YouTube has kinda been removed.)
What's the last update so far?
Let's be honest here. How often do you see me, Princessa, share tips on fashion and accessories?
Fact is... I'm kinda not a well "accessorised" person. Which is probably going to change with a bit of influence from Nad (as in nadnut).

Image from Digital Web Magazine.
Similar to Nad, even though I don't fancy accessories, I love customised stuff.
Different from her, it's not really about differentiating from the crowd, but more like standing out in it. (I'm not a total attention seeker, but hell I definitely don't want to fade away into the background.)
Since the day before, after the Revlon event, a conclusion has been made - I need to dress up, accessorise, and make up!
And the journey begins...
Hmmm... Come to think of it, I'm not sure if I even mentioned that my dumb bear left. Oh well. Whatever.

Image from Cox & Cox.
Teddybear is coming back today and this time round he isn't coming back empty handed! (Unlike the Germany and Malaysia trip. Can you imagine... Going Germany and not buying anything back. Not even a photo of my castle! Geez.)
Ahhh... Whyyy... Whyyy of all times to have a downtime, "it" had to pick now? Whyyy...
Geez. For the past 2 days the stupid server kept going nuts. The server is up, the emails are up, but my damn blog keeps going DOWN!
This is like sooo totally... BAD! It's totally affecting my stats. For god sake... It dropped by HALF! :(
This can't be happening. Teck is sooo busy, I'm starting work on Monday. Ahhh... I sense disaster about to take place.
I'm sooo totally drained after the extremely long drive. I mean Orchard, Chinatown, Simei, Bedok, Hougang and Sengkang... It's not one end of Singapore to the other, but it's totally exhausting.
For now all I am gonna say is that it was a totally colourful experience, the presentation was awesome (esp. the "make over" by Andy and the make up tips), and Aaron is such a sweet host (can't say the same for *ahem* who thinks too highly of herself to be in this "PR" industry).
Aaron Koh + Michael Drury is an excellent combo. (Based on the Electrolux experience.)
I mean seriously, whether I'm a blogger or the press, since you've invited us we're your guest.
If you don't understand the word "guest" here's a tip from Dictionary.com:
This is some serious news...
SINGAPORE: A 20-year-old national serviceman died in hospital, nearly two hours after he fainted during training on Pulau Tekong on Tuesday morning.
According to CNA (that keeps "spamming" my mobile phone no thanks to my Twitter subscription), Recruit Andrew Cheah Wei Siong from the Basic Military Training Centre fainted at 8.35am while he was taking part in a 2km walk training activity on the island.
(Yes. It's a walk. Not dash, not run, not jog, it's a walk.)
Who says curiosity kills the cat. If it does... Thank god I'm no kitten.
As mentioned in my earlier entry, Gina Lisa is one of the hot favourites in Germany's Next Topmodel (GNTM), but no, she didn't win.
Have I mentioned before that "fame usually comes with a price"? Tsk.
I felt a little con when I read this entry:
For a minute I thought "heck probably there's no scandal after all", that's when I saw this entry with the following images:
Back to basics.
Blogging is fun no doubt but with work commitments, starting next Monday, I think there will be stuff that I can no longer blog about.
Geez. I know it's the Germany's Next Topmodel (GNTM) (something similar to the America's Next Top Model concept), but couldn't someone be kind enough to share with the rest of the world by "reporting" in English for a change?
(That's Gina Lisa by the way. She is sooo pretty isn't she?)
Ah well.
Should I consider getting a guest blogger to help maintain my "one day one entry" goal? Any applicants?

Anyway.
After rounds of considerations, I've decided to join back the working force! Wahahahaha!
Honestly, blogging as a "full time" can somewhat maintain my expenses, plus I got like tons of free time. But seriously... With so much time and no friends to spend it with (most people work from 9am to 6pm), it is SO DAMN BORING MAN!
So yeah. I set out to get a job and surprisingly got it within a week (or two)! Wee~ (In fact, I got 2. Haha.)
Let's be honest here, the well renowned blogger - Xiaxue, is indeed very well read. I for one enjoy her outburst, even though half the time I'm in disagreement.
Anyhow.
I'd have to thank ANdystorm for this piece of information -
"The birth of Xiaxue.blogspot.com!"
(And the video of course.)
Otherwise... Hell, I'm not gonna spend that kinda time to dig through for it.
So here it is:
You know what made her started her blog?
She wrote this diary(Hand Written!) then when she broke up with her ex-boyfriend, she passed the diary to him. One year later, she wanted to get it back, but her ex-boyfriend's girlfriend threw it away during CNY Spring cleaning!
How did our little detective find out?
God. Is it like a new trend or something - servers going down!?
I was checking out Technorati for interesting entries and caught a glimpse of today's popular keywords which happened to have "amazon down" on the top charts.
According to CenterNetworks, an attempt to access Amazon lead to this page:

There's more...
I got this off IZ Reloaded (you know my "best friend"):
Watch as two Marlboro cigarette boxes, a Durex condom box and two matchboxes transform and combine into one kick-ass super Decepticon. Great! Now I'm staring at the cigarette box on my desk and hoping that it can transform too.
This is news - "YouTube's Head of Monetization QUITS"
Previously there were discussions about Google experiencing some difficulties in making YouTube the money-making machine it should be. (It is making profit of course, but well... Not to the levels it really should be, which is kinda an issue for the big boys.)
Traffic may be incredibly high, and pageviews are much healthier than any other video sites, but it seems Google's prediction of making $200 million this year isn't quite what they were hoping for.
What happens next?
In recent years, many new companies have mushroomed, providing cost effective SEO services to their clients. But with this galaxy of SEO companies, can your really tell who are authentic and who are not?
Before you make a decision that you need a SEO company/firm to help optimize your website/blog, first you need to do a study analysis yourself:
Aaaahhh... Nooo... Should I get it or should I not?
Okay. Here's the deal.
I've read from DailyTech, that earlier "today" they brought news about the Eee PC 1000, thanks to a leaked from an "observant" Hexus employee. And thanks to blogeee.net, they even have the images of the new 10" Asus Eee PC 1000!

Image from DailyTech.
As per said, the new and upgrade Eee PC 1000 carries on the same new design introduced with the Eee PC 901, albeit on a larger scale.
Note this:
No matter how hard I try, I still end up late for "events".
Sleeping at 4am in the morning and waking up at 8 kinda called for an afternoon nap, which unfortunately happened and I was... LATE for an "exclusive" visit to the Swedish Ambassador's Residence.
Thank god the practice of allowing the early birds to "mingle around while waiting for rest of the guest to arrive" for the first hour was still in style. Otherwise, I can't imagine walking in while the dancers were in the midst of their performance.
This feels like another case of "Odex" one more time...
Never in my long-lived life would I expect to see a day a company or anyone for that matter of fact to use the "technology" that enables image linkage from one site to another to be patented!
Talk about an April's Fool joke gone bad.
Vuestar, a Singapore "patent-holding" firm describes itself as the "Pioneer of visual search", and is asserting patent rights in the technology that enables websites to link to other webpages using an image rather than text.
According to Ars Technica (in other words I'm not just bullshitting about this), the firm recently has been sending invoices to companies that it believes are using its patented technology. This means that as long as you have an image that is click-able either to enlarge the image, open a new page within your site, or open a new website - you will be affected by this claim!
Imagine how huge this whole "patent claim" thingy can become! I mean, which site in this whole god-damn "cyber realm" have never linked a single photo and/or graphical image to another page before? (I'm sooo dead.)
Although not all countries are affected, we (Singapore) definite am. Along with Australia and the United States that is. Oh wait, did I miss out New Zealand?
Anyhow.
I go by the name Princessa (pronounced as Prin-ces-sa) online, you can also call me Sabrina or Princess Sabrina for that matter.
