Unfabulous is a American children's television series on Nickelodeon in TEENick about an "unfabulous" junior high school student, played by Emma Roberts.

The show, which debuted in Autumn 2004, is one of the most-watched programs in the United States among children between the age of 9 and 14 and was created by Tom Felton.

(This I really shouldn't have said, I'm like 10 years too old?)

Anyway, let's stay on top of the topic for once.

Addie (Emma Roberts) has always thought of her relationship with Randy as perfect, but when he stands her up on a date, she breaks up with him in anger.

Randy apologizes, but Geena thinks that Addie did the right thing by "kicking him to the curb". Will Addie forgive Randy, or is the "perfect couple" really split for good?

Well, apparently, Addie wasn't the one to call the quits after all.

Close to the end of the episode, Randy ended up breaking up with Addie before she could break up with him.

Thing is, Randy too realized that they... Well... Had nothing in common, just as Addie had thought.

Boohoo for Addie. No tears though. Probably it's not the break up that's making her sore but the fact that she didn't call for it.

On the other hand, Zach had his way this episode, after some "advice" from his not-so-kewl basketball coach.

Coach: Zach, what happened?
Zach: I don't know, Coach. I'm a little distracted cause of my girlfriend.
Coach: What? She dump you for a jock? (laughs)
Zach: Coach... I am a jock.

With almost a whole basketball court filled with sunflowers and a touching "I don't care what others thing, I like you" dialog, Zach won the heart of his supposedly, 1 grade older, girlfriend.

My point?

Although this program is kinda meant for the kids, being popular to ages 9 to 14, surprisingly, this episode kinda came up with some good advice.

Be it adult or child, sometimes you need to know when to let go.

2 people may look good together and seem like the "perfect couple", but in actual fact, they have like totally nothing in common. And trust me, when there's nothing in common, no matter how good you look together, it's down right useless.

On the other hand, when it seems like it's probably not a good idea, according to everyone else that is. That match may be the "perfect couple" after all.

Imperfection can sometimes be perfection.

And of course, better to die trying then to give up before the battle begins.

Cheers. Unfabulous.
