How will a pulp result?
Being the not-at-all beauty blogger that I am (have I mentioned that for the longest time ever I was so lazy that I actually used SOAP to wash my extremely sensitive oily skin?), having write a beauty-based entry (especially the involvement of an actual "review") is extremely tedious. That said, (oh how shameless this comment is about to sound) being complimented numerous times for my somewhat "good" (trying to be humble here) complexion... it does make sense if I start moving toward this area, doesn't it?

Anyway, unlike many (or even all) of the other 99 bloggers that probably received the package earlier than I did, (cause I was too busy to send out the email to request for the courier, and when I did, I was too busy with the staycation issues) I only managed to start using it since the staycation last Saturday till... well... today!
Then again, if you really think about it, even if I had requested earlier and started using it the moment I received it, two weeks on a beauty product isn't going to create wonders, or will it?
"It promises a healthy, clearer complexion in three weeks." Well, not exactly two weeks, but three weeks is pretty impressive.
I only managed to use it for a week, so I'm kinda two week short. However...

During the staycation, we kinda really "did the works". Full range of make-up on our faces (the thickest I've had, if you don't consider photoshoots/makeovers), minimum sleep... anything and everything that is a huge no-no if you want to keep your "good" complexion. I was almost certain that I was going to get a breakout (despite my non-tender age).
I can't be sure if it's Eucerin that actually saved me or the foundation of my supposed good skin is really that strong, but nothing... no breakout, no pimples, NOTHING! Well... okay, I think I have slight dark eye circles, but I don't suppose any facial product can help with that (do correct me if I'm wrong here).
Now, let's go into the "fact-sheet" of the product range which consist of:
The Eucerin DermoPURIFYER range is supposedly oil-free, has anti-bacterial properties, and is non-comedogenic. It is also said to help prevent skin irritation and is compatible with most acne medication - might recommend this to Sylvia.
The key ingredient in this range is Lactic Acid (2 percent), a naturally-occurring acid found on our skin. Apparently, how it works is that it:
I'm guessing the last point is kinda uncertain. I believe every individual's skin type is different, therefore you cannot really estimate the amount of time needed for one to actually see a difference when they switch from one skincare product to another. That is why there are so many products out there and not every suits everyone. I'm just saying of course.
In the Eucerin DermoPURIFYER range, the key product is said to be the DermoPURIFYER Creme-Gel which is designed to hydrate the skin and regulate excess sebum formation (and yes, I'm copying this from the press release).
Fyi (I just learned this recently as well), oily skin (like mine) should be moisturised regularly. When skin is properly hydrated, it is less likely to release extra sebum (oil) that contributes to clogged pores resulting in acne or pimple breakouts.
Step 1: Cleanser

The cleanser is soap-free, which is good, cause it doesn't leave the skin feeling dry (unlike using soap, hurhur). With a long-term soap as facial wash experience on my belt, I can tell you exactly how the skin feels after wash. It feels tight and dry. It even peels a little, more obvious when you don't use liquid-base first and just put on your powder foundation.
For this cleanser however, you don't get that (same goes for many others though). There's no like sudden refresh feeling or anything of that sort. Unlike commercials, life just isn't that dramatic. However, after wash, you do actually feel as though your skin is... how should I put it... well cleanse.
As for a product to replace or even sub as a make-up removal... FAIL! It is pretty decent if you have already used your make-up removal and just needed something extra to wash away the dirt left behind - staycation experience.
Step 2: Scrub

I remember getting shouted at (not in a bad way that is) when I kinda ran out of cleanser and started using my mum's scrub to wash my face. It wasn't my mum that yelled at me, instead it was my friend, whom I mentioned this to, that freaked out. I know it isn't supposed to be use for a daily wash but hey, it beat using soap right?
Unlike other scrubs I've tried (and just mentioned), this scrub can be used on a daily basis cause it's pretty mild. That said, when you first apply it, it kinda stings a little but subsides afterward. Once you get used to it, it's pretty much like using your cleanser (you will still feel the beans rubbing against your face of course).
My main flaw is my blackheads. Unfortunately, as of current, this scrub has not solved it. Hopefully, after using it for another two weeks (cause you're suppose to see results in three weeks), my blackheads would have reduced or completely vanished (impossible of course, then again, my blackheads aren't all that bad)!
Step 3: Creme-Gel

Never really believed in moisturisers cause it always ends up leaving my skin feeling oily (though supposedly it doesn't or isn't suppose to). But this one, is fine. In fact, it's better than fine. I used this only during the staycation and well, no pimples, no nothing. Although I can't 100 percent be sure that it is the product that saved my skin but I'm sure it help in minimum at least.
The entire Eucerin DermoPURIFYER range includes:
But I've only tried the cleanser, scrub and cream-gel.
