How will a pulp result?
It has been quite a while since I last dined at Jack's Place. The atmosphere is still so soothing. Just a quick thought, is this considered fine dining? Or is this just a "candle light dinner" since there's a candle, and it's lighted? Hmmm...
Enough thoughts, time to feast!
Before I could take a shot (photo shot) of the two slices of bread. My sister grabbed a piece of it and starting munching away. Sigh. Guess you'd have to bear with just the image of one.
Note: It's only bread, and it's free? Can't expect too much.
Did I mention my sister is currently studying "cookery"?
According to my "expert" sister, if you're having steak, Ribeye is the tastiest. And that's what we had.
Choice of sauces didn't require expertises, it was more of personal preference. Since my sister went for mushroom sauce, I went for black pepper.
Steak is one of my favourite western dishes - I prefer medium rare but I went for medium well this time round. Every since the one I had in Australia, nothing seemed to have gotten close to the 4.5 stars ratings I gave it. This only deserved 3 stars, which says a lot.
Okay, that was all the dishes we had for the evening. We were trying to lose some weight, eating a full course would really spoil the diet plan.
I'm not 100% pleased with their (Jack's Place) service. There was a black substance in my sister's drink. Although they changed a new glass for her, the fact that they didn't check before serving it somewhat lowered their service level altogether. At the price we were paying, it wasn't excusable.
Just for the record. This was an "unexpected" dinner. Initially, I was only suppose to pick my sister up from Marina Square then head back home. I'm not quite sure how it happened, but I ended up having to dine out with her at Marina Square. Geez.
"All well and ends well" I suppose. The experience wasn't that bad, apart from the fact that I had to foot the bill. *Ouch*

Interesting post and comments about dinning and eating out, it reminds me of the time when I used to eat out at least 3 times a week. My goodness, how things have changed, I bet I could not even try that again if I wanted. It’s not about economics, it’s just that in this day and age of acai berry drinks, and eating right and healthy, I just can’t eat whatever comes my way anymore.

Great stuff - I am moving away from WordPress to Drupal so it's great to see you are using it here. Seems like it has a solid following and you've done some great stuff with it on this site.
Also, great pictures!! Definitely looks delicious :)
Cheers!
