Technically, I'm categorising this entry incorrectly. It's not a geek entry, in fact, it should be fashion! Why? Cause the only reason why someone would buy Apple is cause they are followers of the brand. Hurhur. I'm just kidding.

So, I got my Air and I'm installing all the nonsense a web designer/developer should. Why? Sadly, I'm forced to pickup my old hobby once again. And to think I've gotten over that phase. Tsk.

So what has this got to do with the Air? Well, obviously I'm not using this as my primary design/development equipment. It's for mobility, mainly. I don't want to rush home just to do some minor configuration. Yes I drive, but the MBP (MacBook Pro) is still not a device I wanna carry around everywhere I go. Read the rest of this entry »

Currently, I'm using a red (I think it's) leather casing for my iPad, which is great, just not fabulous enough. I'm somewhat brand conscious, unfortunately.

The iPad is not just any-old gadget, it's like the gadget of the century - not forgetting fashion accessory.

So anyway, I was research on casing and chanced upon the YSL one! It looks great with YSL's label slapped on it. The only problem is the price, USD750 - it is NOT cheap at all. In fact, it is one of the most expensive ones so far (I'm comparing to the Louis Vuitton one in case you're wondering - love it, just don't love it enough).

I've been putting aside my wishlist for the longest time ever. Here's one of it!

So there you have it! My first official item on my wishlist (I don't mind other brands as well, as long as it's leather, pink or red and gorgeous!)

After going Mac, I really never went back. Even though being an Apple fan has restricted the number of games I get to play (mainly the free-to-play MMORPGs), for instance, Rappelz - been wanting to play it since I read Sheylara's advertorial on it. Fortunately, there are still games out there such as World of Warcraft, StarCraft 2, etc that are Mac-enabled.

Anyway. I've always had the impression that the Mac was waaay faster than the PC in terms of booting up. And frankly speaking, it really used to be. However, in the recent days, my Mac (MacBook Pro) is really starting to slow down significantly and it's not just booting up but practically every single form of processing.

To find the solution for my problem, I did a little Googling and found a list that somewhat explains why your Mac (or rather my Mac) is slowing down. I don't have long nails, so it really doesn't bother me that the Apple iPhone isn't build for those with. Then again, that's just me. I'm quite sure there are many ladies out there are a little bothered by it.

We have "Return of the Jedi", "Return of the King", and now we have the "Return of the Mac clone"?

Well, at least it did, for a while.

Miami-based Psystar has begun selling a new computer that it says will run Mac OS X Leopard.

What's going through your mind right now? Duh. Mac clone Alert!

Psystar is touting the computer as the "Open Computer: The Smart Alternative to an Apple". We are calling it Mac clone + law suit.
