Perth, WA (Day 2, Part II): I can skate, can you?

Time flies by quickly, just a blink of an eye and it's been three days since I got back from Perth, Western Australia (WA). It's only been a couple of days and things seem so different. After putting in so much effort into something, suddenly, I have to let it all go. Life is just so unexpected - for good or for better.

My diary is something I keep dear to me and my blog is something I like to share. In unexpected situations, you make unexplainable choices. I reckon it's time I start afresh.

A new start, a new diary, a fresh new story.

Now, back to day two. The last I mentioned, we had fish and chips for lunch. We sat around a bit, took a couple of scenery photos (some of which has me inside) then headed to the next destination - the ice-skating rink! Read the rest of this entry »

Perth, WA (Day 2, Part I): Visiting Curtin University

Day one was pretty short considering I only arrived at Perth at about 10.45pm. Day two on the other hand was a really long day that started at like 9+am in the morning even though I slept at like 3+am (spent most of the time in the room chatting online though)?

Before I go into that...

They have cops riding HORSES here! Nice! Hehe. Read the rest of this entry »

Perth, WA (Day 1, Part II): Random thoughts...

I've been here only a couple of hours and I'm loving this place already. First and foremost, the weather is excellent (doesn't feel like 12 degrees at all), the people are awesome and everything just seems so peaceful (though it's kinda one of the highest crime rate cities in Australia).

My mum called me like two hours ago asking why I left my car keys at her table. God, she really doesn't pay attention to what I say at all. When I told her I was in Perth, Western Australia, she got a shock.

Seriously, I've been talking about this for weeks. How could she not remember? Read the rest of this entry »

Perth, WA (Day 1, Part I): Onboard a "jet plane"

It's close to three hours till touch down but having to sit in an extreme upright position throughout the flight, it's getting a little difficult to sleep. The bear was right. I should have requested for a seat closer to the walkway. Then I'd be able to ask the steward for a drink (have to pay for it of course) or walk to the ladies.

In the year itself, I've taken Jetstar twice - first time to Hong Kong and second to Perth, Western Australia (WA).

Both experiences aren't ideal (even though this is still a to-trip haven't experienced the back-trip yet).

The steward and stewardess are fine; smiley and all. But the aircraft is something to think about. There's no TV to watch, no music to listen, basically there's NOTHING! Read the rest of this entry »

Leaving on a "Jet plane" to Australia (Perth)!

After much consideration (and I've yet packed), I've decided to go ahead with plans and will be leaving on a "Jet plane" in 3-4 hours time!

And by "Jet plane" I mean Jetstar airplane! LoLx~

I really don't know what to be expecting in the next 4 days. In fact, I'm not even sure if the Visa is really approved. For all I know, when I get to Perth, Western Australia (WA) they might not even grant me entrance to the country. Read the rest of this entry »

Australia: Planning a possible trip?

Remember the 'Unexpected Australia Adventure' thingy?

Well...

After Nadnut's 'Unexpected Australia' win, and reading about her adventures there. I felt extremely envious and I'm kinda tempted to fly over and experience it for myself all over again.

Although I won't have my face in the papers like Nad... Read the rest of this entry »
