Every year, the celebration should begin on October 1st (Children's Day - forever young they say), reaching it's peak on October 7th, then calming down by October 31st. Sadly, every year it never pulls through.

Despite all efforts to make "this October" the most memorable one, it never succeeds. In fact, there are many occasions (I'm really getting old) it ended up becoming the worst month EVER. I still remember my 16th... let's not even go into that.

This year, with Carolyn's help, despite the numerous turn of events, the emotional outburst of people that seemingly lump everything into one big picture (totally unjustified, unprofessional, uncalled for...), the annoyance of little people, and the backstabbing of psychotic people; this October (has just began) kicked off with a slightly better start coming to previous years (my birthday week was still considerable the worst week of the year though). Friends are not always forever, but for as long as they can remain friends, there's always a need to maintain the friendship. Otherwise, like relationships, you grow apart.

I've always liked gatherings, not all but most, especially those where people close gets to gather and enjoy the moment. Birthday gatherings are the best, it's always joyous even if some are unhappy the birthday girl or boy will definitely be happy. And why wouldn't they? Showered with gifts and blessings.
