Christmas Tree Special #9 (2008 Edition): Fairmont Hotel

I've not given up on my Christmas Tree Special just quite yet. I will complete the whole series, even if it's going to take me forever! Hurhur.

Just for the record, the prime reason for my absence here is due to contextual revamping of my other blogs: SabbyMonster.com, Digital Sabrina, Family of Bears, miuki.NET, and (last but not least) Princessa @ OMY. And of course, work did play a major role.

Now, continuing with the ninth tree on the list, here's something special, shot by Jaclyn during her visit to Fairmont Hotel.

It's the same Christmas tree I used for my Christmas eCard! Read the rest of this entry »

Christmas Tree Special #8 (2008 Edition): A "teddylicious" treat at Conrad Centennial Singapore

Have I mentioned how much I love teddy bears? As promised, the next Christmas tree on the supposed list is "really adorable" and very much bear-related. It is taken on the same day as before, and at the same hotel - in Conrad Centennial Singapore, right in front of the entrance.

You know how teddy bears tends to give people a warm and cuddly feeling inside? Well, looking at this tree kinda gives me the urge to go over and grab a bear and hug it! Read the rest of this entry »

Christmas Tree Special #7 (2008 Edition): Outside of Conrad Centennial Singapore

Pardon me for my absence. As I've just return to my desk from a week long break, work is starting to pile up as we speak. Or rather, the lack of "piling" - no press releases these last couple of days - that's kinda the problem right now.

As mentioned in my previous "Christmas Tree Special" entry, the tree I'm presenting today was spotted on the same day as before but not exactly at the same place. With that said, I hereby present to you...

The seventh Christmas tree for this segment! Read the rest of this entry »

Christmas Tree Special #6 (2008 Edition): A toy shop at Suntec City

It didn't take long before the bear decided to come join me, or rather, drag me to another toy shop. And there, we spotted the sixth candidate!

Do I need to explain why this Christmas tree caught my attention? Take a good look and make a guess? It's quite obvious really. Read the rest of this entry »

Christmas Tree Special #5 (2008 Edition): Suntec City Mall Atriums

Previously I mentioned we (the bear and I) had Pasta Mania at Suntec where we spotted the fourth Christmas tree for this segment at Yami Yogurt.

Well, after that delightful treat, we continued walking around the mall before heading back home for the bear's football match (Liverpool vs. I-don't-know).

We were heading towards the toy shop near the cinema where we spotted a large hanging wreath with many lil Christmas trees hanging all around it.

While the bear made his way to look at his toys, I stayed behind with my camera in my hands. Read the rest of this entry »

Christmas Tree Special #4 (2008 Edition): Yami Yogurt at Suntec City

Having left over coupons from Pasta Mania that expires on December 31st, the bear and I decided to head down to their Suntec City outlet for lunch.

Heading out of Pasta Mania, walking towards the stairs (facing the fountain), we spotted a yoghurt stand - Yami Yogurt. I love yoghurt (as compared to ice-cream), so as expected, I dragged the bear over to buy me some! Hurhur.

Guess what? Placed on top of a glass panel, in between the cashier and the yoghurt topping display, stood...

The fourth worthy Christmas tree for this segment! Read the rest of this entry »

Christmas Tree Special #3 (2008 Edition): China Square Central

After church and lunch with the Rodriguez family, the bear and I headed over to China Square Central to do a little "Sunday toy shopping"...

In the middle of the entrance to the shopping mall, stood the Christmas tree covered with red orchids, and a mix of red and golden balls.

Admittedly, this isn't the most attractive or tallest Christmas tree around. What attracted me to it is perhaps that it's the only tree in the area. Read the rest of this entry »
