Will you tuck me in at night and watch: Naruto, Bleach, Kaichou wa Maid-sama and (even) Lovely Complex?
I'm like this ultimate "sick machine" that promptly comes down with a flu, cough, sore throat and even fever on a monthly basis. My body is getting weaker as I grow older I guess. Then again, even at Gadget3 I get sick quite often, just that I go to work anyway. So yeah. Read the rest of this entry »
This week is a special week. Instead of one episode of Gadget3 TV (technology segment), we have two!
What is this episode all about? Read the rest of this entry »
This has gotta be the most overdue entries of all time. For record sake, I decided to drag history out and blog about it so in the future if I wanna look it up, I can.
The X08 happened in October 25, 2008. It's been more than four months, but the experience felt as though it just happened yesterday.
(Walking down memory lane) For three days straight Marina Square had played host to the biggest Xbox 360 showcase ever to hit the region. It was the first major event I had to cover for Gadget3, so it left a significant print in my memory bank.
To be honest, I was pretty excited and fearful at the very same time. Although it wasn't the first time I attending events like such, but it was the first time I was representing a publication - the pressure was on. Read the rest of this entry »
It's so hard to write about something that I feel nothing towards. However, a need, is a need. And sometime you have to forgo the principles of what you thought a blog is all about and just "do it".
It's really nothing to do with the event, it's just the thought of returning to SCHOOL on a weekday and sitting in a lecture theatre... I just can't help feeling bothered by it.
Perhaps it's because I treat this as a reminder of my age. Even though I was mistaken as a student during both events, the fact is still a fact. I am no longer a student, no longer a teen, no longer part of the youth-youth. Read the rest of this entry »
It's been a really tiresome week, last week that is, since this week just started. There were so much stuff to do, I found myself pretty much messed up. I simply couldn't concentrate on writing just one thing, which resulted in writing practically nothing at all.
Anyway, coming back to the LG PRADA Asian Launch - I've been looking forward to this launch since the day I joined Gadget3, and finally after four months or so, the day came.
Like every other week day of the week, I went to work as per normal, did what I need to do, and by lunch time, off I went heading first to pick up my sister and then to St Regis. Read the rest of this entry »
Pardon me, as expected, I blogged about the event at Gadget3.com yesterday, but didn't have the time to blog about it here. Hurhur. Oh well.
Attending Sony Ericsson's media event yesterday was definitely the best choice I've made this week. Not only did I get to learn more about the PlayNow services, I had the opportunity to get a first hand experience at their innovative kiosks, played with a couple of their latest mobile phones, and take the sailing boat out for a spin (with a little extra tasteful sight on the side)! I had the greatest time during the Sony Ericsson event today! The press conference and the "presentation" part is, you know, as usual, but the ride on the sailing boat was terrific! (Plus, that Swedish guy in the sunglasses is simply adorable - or better described - "sooo cuto!" Hurhur.)
I'll blog about the event tomorrow at Gadget3 first, after that (if time permits) I'll post something up here too - with a little more personal touch and more details on the cuto guy (with photos of course).
I told Teddybear about the cuto guy already, he's pretty confident about himself so it's no biggie. Damn, I'm really hoping Vincent (from Business Times) gets his contact or something. I don't have many Swedish friends and to have a cuto one really wouldn't hurt AT ALL! Hurhur.
(Last note) Grrr... Shawnnn (from T3)... You really didn't have to let everyone know you know. ~>.<~ Oh well.
