Panasonic Brunch (with Justin) at Crazy World Cafe

I haven't gone for brunch for the longest time ever, so it was great that Gavin's agency decided to put together one. Better yet, I had Justin to accompany me! I haven't been spending much time with my old friends either.

The only problem with this brunch was the food, which made it pretty disappointing. I'd rather have paid for a decent meal and come afterwards for the main event. Read the rest of this entry »

The Badass Gavin Foo!

I love my friends, even the most annoying, self-absorbed, arrogant, heartless, forgetful... basically, even those that aren't all that nice. The thing about friends is not how nice they are to you all the time, but when you need them, they'll be there for you. Read the rest of this entry »

Korea: 5 days, 2 cities - Seoul and Busan

When Gavin (the Foo) somewhat tipped me about a possible Korea trip coming up, I didn't really have my hopes up.

I mean... It's totally awesome to get like a all-expenses-paid trip to Korea but seriously, what are the chances that I'd get it? (Not in the competitive mood lately.)

Anyway. Guess what! On Wednesday, October 22, 2008, before lunch time, the invitation email actually came!

I couldn't believe it but I got the media invitation for the LG eco-chic immersion programme from Navin (yes, not Gavin, but still, same-same) of XPR on behalf of LG Electronics, to spend five days from November 3 to 7, 2008, in Korea!

(Such a long phrase to say in one breathe.)

OMG! Can this really be true?! I really got it?! Read the rest of this entry »

Dinner with colleagues... Supper with the folks?

I'm super duper busy at work today and I'm predicting tomorrow is going to be worst. OMG! I'm going to be talking about "blogging & media engagement" or something like that in front of 25-30 people! I'm sooo freaking out here!

Geez. Seriously Gav (as in Gavin Foo) needs a secretary. That dumb-dumb only sent over the agenda like this afternoon! God... What was he thinking! Oh well. Thank god I have Aaron (as in Aaron Koh) to help me out with this. Wahahahaha!

Anyhow.

I only have like 5 minutes to type this entry and I gotta go over to IMM to pick up my colleague and head down to Bugis for a somewhat 88DB gathering. (I'm so proud of myself for getting this thing going by the way. Wahahahaha!)

Oh yeah. Got to go back to Teddybear's place for supper too. >.<

Okay. Later days!

Work, work, work and MORE work! Oh yeah... LG Secret ROX!

There comes a time when people like moi has to grow up and say "hey" (again) to society. Well... The time has came, and the time is now!

(I work at 88DB Lifestyle as a Writer! Thank you very much. So yes, do come and support by posting in the forums and stuff, my boss will totally be please with any form of interactivity. Plus of course, we come up with monthly contests to "give back" to the community.)

For the past half a year or so, I've been trying at best to update my blog on a daily basis. Sadly, due to the current "work load", to think I've only been working for like 2 weeks plus plus, I find it close to impossible to keep up with this commitment. ~>.<~ *Cryz*

So yeah... Boohoo for me. (My boss should so totally appreciate the time I'm giving to the company man.)

Anyhow.

Have I like mentioned that I "got" a pre-production set of the LG Secret during CommunicAsia 2008? Woohoo! Read the rest of this entry »

Yahoo! & LG Electronics Blogger's Event: I'll blog soon...

This entry is going to be really short. It's like 1am or something and I'm totally exhausted, have to wake up at 6am, which is like 5 hours away after I finish this entry? Ouch.

P/s: I'll try to sort out the photos and publish it on Facebook or something so you guys can get a copy. But don't expect too much from it. I realise taking photos of people moving constantly isn't as simple as it looks. In fact, it really takes quite a bit of skills, which apparently I DO NOT HAVE - no thanks to Aaron.

Anyway. First let me thank my good friend Gavin Foo for this excellent experience, 88DB (or rather 88DB Lifestyle) for letting leave the office and cover the event, LG and Yahoo for the invite, and all the bloggers that attend!

Launch of Scarlet: Returning home...

I just came back from the "Launch of Scarlet" (which is actually a LG event) held at the Singapore Flyer, organized by Gavin Foo.

It was really an experience, took tons of photos, and I even took a ride on the Singapore Flyer even though I'm terrified of heights. ~>.<~

Getting late, guess I'll leave the details for later.

Another long day tomorrow. Filming the upcoming episodes for Blogger's Treat.

Nights!
