This is news - "YouTube's Head of Monetization QUITS"

Previously there were discussions about Google experiencing some difficulties in making YouTube the money-making machine it should be. (It is making profit of course, but well... Not to the levels it really should be, which is kinda an issue for the big boys.)

Traffic may be incredibly high, and pageviews are much healthier than any other video sites, but it seems Google's prediction of making $200 million this year isn't quite what they were hoping for.

Regardless of what you guys out there may have heard, in actual fact, it is still possible to earn a lot of cash with Google Adsense. (I'm also one of those that feeds off it.)

I mean, if you really take a good look around, you'll still see a lot of the "dinosaurs" of making money on the internet who are still making good livings with Adsense and other forms of website/blog monetization.

I'll be totally honest here, if it wasn't for my daily lookups for scoops at Technorati, I wouldn't have came across the somewhat headline topics of Joel Comm's new, version 4, book.
