I <3 Shopbop + 'Spring in the City' Campaign

In the past year (and hopefully many more years to come), working with Shopbop.com has been one of my greatest joy (fortunately, they have not dropped me yet). As a proud member of Shopbop Bloggers' around the world, I'm pleased to say that Shopbop has not disappointed me in almost every sense - in terms of the engagement, brand selection, shopping experience, and delivery.

This spring, Shopbop.com launched its print advertising campaign featuring model Eniko Mihalik, shot by photographer Guy Aroch.

Taken against the back drop of Manhattan's urban skyline, the campaign highlights effortless, chic silhouettes in bold colors with statement accessories; speaking to Shopbop's versatile approach to dressing, mixing apparel and accessories across all designer categories.

The campaigned named 'Spring in the City' features fashion from Rag & Bone (one of my favourite brands), Peter Som, 3.1 Phillip Lim, A.L.C (another liked brand) amongst others!

I'm not sure about the rest of you, but for me Shopbop.com is like a guide to fashion. Not only do I shop there, I get inspired by how they mix and match, and I learn of and fall in love with brands I never knew existed (JADEtribe being one of them).

Check out the campaign in March through to May in the issues of Vogue, InStyle, and Elle! Also, check out Shopbop.com!

4 Ways to Wear Spring's Singular Sensation

The thing about wearing a jumpsuit/romper is that... its a full piece. You don't really have to worry so much about what matches what, cause you don't really get to pick and choose. But of course, to complete any look, accessorising is essential!

Check out the available jumpsuits/rompers on Shopbop.com, you won't be disappointed!

A Day with the PK Girls and Nikon

Remember how it felt when you signed up for your first school outing? Having to go through the whole hassle of bringing that piece of paper back for your mum to sign, her forgetting to sign it, you panicking and throwing a huge fit worried that you'll be left behind by the rest of the class... okay, maybe that part was probably more smooth sailing for the rest of you.

Anyway, this felt like going back to school once again; having to gather at the Nikon office, taking off by bus from one destination to another, a whole lot of walking, taking photos, sweating your pants off while having tons of fun and laughs! Read the rest of this entry »

Shop the BCBGMAXAZRIA Resort Collection!

It is said that "resort wear" aka "cruise wear" is a year-round fashion yet specialized in its way.

To me, when I think of "resort wear" I think of flowy apparel, much like the ones showcased in BCBGMAXAZRIA Resort Collection!

Here are my top three picks! Read the rest of this entry »

Outfits of the Week #1

"Outfits of the Week" is back!

This time I'm not going to give a name for each week (mainly because I don't really follow any theme whatsoever anyway, and don't intend to) instead, I'll just post out the week's "Today's Outfit" that I post on my Tumblr, Facebook Page, Twitter and Instagram! Also, I don't take it everyday, I take it when I find the outfit worthwhile photographing, even though I'm just taking mirror reflections ;p .

To kick start, here's last week's outfits! Read the rest of this entry »

The Birthday Special: Chapter 2

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I wasn't able to post The Birthday Special as timely as I had hoped. So much has happened in the past month; from partnership problems, friendship issues, financial issues, falling ill... etc. I think the most sudden and the most unfortunate is the hospitalisation (not me but someone close). With all that I had no choice but to actually go back to work and had very little to no time to actually blog.

That said, despite the bad, there were numerous good events as well; I made new friends (Kay Kay, Yutaki, Eric, Milly, and so on...), had help from old friends (Priss, Isabelle, Peggy, Aylwin, etc), and of course, the sponsors continued with me despite all.

I really appreciate all the sponsors (namely Shopbop, Jean Yip, The Everyday Life Store, My Glamour Place, Global Citizen, etc) to support me for their kind patience, tolerance and understanding. It means a lot, truly. Also, I understand the few that weren't as tolerant and I do not blame them. Well, maybe a little upset with those that turned nasty (poor Carolyn had to deal with it). Seriously, it's not like I'd run away with your money, I don't intend to shut down my blog for that couple of bucks.

So yes, thanks you all so much! Lots of hugs and kisses~!

Now, back to the brighter days! Read the rest of this entry »
