Many say I'm a blogger, some say I'm a writer, but what I really want to be is a story-teller.

Writing or telling a story is really not that easy, especially if you want people to read/listen to it. Take for instance The Social Network. Without all the drama, the betrayal, the lost love... if they actually kept to the truth, and nothing but the truth, it probably wouldn't have been such a good (or rather great) story, or movie for that matter. As a child I had many ambitions - a lawyer, a fashion designer, a singer, a writer, ...

It was very much later, after switching various majors, working for a while, and yes, BLOGGING, I finally decided - I wanted to be a writer!

Unfortunately, by the time I made this decision, it was a little too late to switch to the right education path - I was no longer a teenager.

With the qualifications I have obtained so far, I tried applying to numerous publications, both print and online. Some granted me an interview, but none actually offered me the job.

In June, I was finally offered a writer's position at 88DB Lifestyle. I was rather excited about it in the beginning, but the enthusism weared off after some time. Read the rest of this entry »

Gosh! I cannot imagine myself away from the keyboard for sooo many days! It's like the great depression or something. (Okay, it doesn't make sense at all.)

Since last Sunday morning, i felt like crap. (Not that I know how crap feels like but yeah.) Thankfully, I managed to convince myself to bear with it all the way until AFTER Joseph's birthday "lunch". In fact, I managed to go for coffee with them as well. But right after that...

Duh. I broke down and collapsed on the bed for the next 4 days. I even missed Nick's (supposed) surprise farewell gathering. Oh well.

OH OH! This reminds me...

Should I consider getting a guest blogger to help maintain my "one day one entry" goal? Any applicants?

Anyway.

After rounds of considerations, I've decided to join back the working force! Wahahahaha!

Honestly, blogging as a "full time" can somewhat maintain my expenses, plus I got like tons of free time. But seriously... With so much time and no friends to spend it with (most people work from 9am to 6pm), it is SO DAMN BORING MAN!
